Hi, I’m Brett – a Dorset wedding photographer who loves capturing natural, relaxed moments and the real story of a wedding day.
My approach is simple: I want you to enjoy your wedding without feeling like you’re constantly posing for photos. The best images happen when you’re relaxed, having fun, and spending time with the people who matter most.
Over the years I’ve had the privilege of photographing more than 100 weddings across Dorset and beyond, and every single one is unique. No two couples are the same, and that’s what makes wedding photography so special to me.

How My Own Wedding Started It All
This photo was taken on our wedding day back in May 2006.
Having a wedding photographer there to capture those moments made me realise just how important those memories truly are. Looking back at our photos nearly 20 years later still brings back the excitement, laughter, and emotion of that day.
That experience is what first inspired me to start photographing weddings myself.
I know how much those images mean years down the line, and that’s exactly what I aim to create for every couple I photograph.

My Photography Style
I specialise in natural, relaxed wedding photography. Rather than constantly directing or staging moments, I focus on capturing genuine emotions as they unfold throughout the day.
Of course I’ll guide you when needed for couple portraits and group photos, but my goal is always to keep things comfortable and enjoyable so you can focus on celebrating your wedding.
I also love capturing the little details that make each wedding unique – the rings, flowers, dresses, decorations, and all the thoughtful touches you’ve spent months planning.

Outside of photography, I’m a proud husband and dad, which keeps life busy and full of fun.
I also enjoy singing and occasionally perform in shows – another creative outlet that I love. Whether it’s performing on stage or photographing a wedding day, I’ve always enjoyed connecting with people and sharing meaningful moments.

What It’s Like To Work With Me
Choosing your wedding photographer is a big decision, and I believe the experience should feel just as relaxed as the photos themselves.
My goal is to make you feel comfortable, natural, and able to enjoy every moment of your wedding day without worrying about the camera.
I’ll gently guide you when needed for group photos and couple portraits, but most of the time I’ll simply capture the real moments as they happen – the laughter, the emotions, and all the little details that make your day unique.
Many couples tell me afterwards that they barely noticed I was there during the day, which is exactly how it should feel.
